Hi, There! I didn't visit to this that It was for a long time.
Until This Time, I was building My Another Project.
It was need to some text editor. So I did making with learning api(window). But I faced the problem that I need the editor with
various functions like line number , syntax highlight ...etc.
However , I Got Some Informations That it's knowledge About Rich Edit Box Recently. So I was excited about that. but I don't know
what is rich box , how use it and how i use that in DBPro.
I need some helps.

Knowledge Is Well-Known Wisdom.
So Wisdom Is Very Absolute.

A Rich Edit box is something like the "Post Forum Message" box you just typed your message in.

Most GUI systems written for DBP have some form of Rich Edit box in them. Try doing a search for GUI in the search box. I use BlueGUI but it's no longer supported and not free (very stable however) but there are several free ones to choose from.

Nah, that's just a plain multi-line edit box. A rich edit box is like what you get in wordpad, where you can change the font colour and style at different places in the text.

"rich" basically tells you that the text is... well, rich. You have many more possibilities of changing font, color, size, and that makes it rich.

An example of an un-rich text editor would be the Microsoft text editor.

Oh, yes I think you're right sorry. In that case I guess you'd have to make your own. Maybe there's a useful thing someone could code?
