Is there a way to turn off blood in FPS creator or make it look different? Just wanna know. Not my favorite look for a game...

Some where there should be the bloods file and you can delete it and that will get rid of it

Delete the blood decal in the chracters .fpe file. Do it for all characters.

If blood makes you woozy, why'd you get a shooter creator??

Or easier way is edit your blood decal texture ( that where is bullet holes and bloods) and erase blood from it(with gimp,paint.net or photoshop)

I liked the way Serious Sam did it, where you could set it so flowers came out instead of blood and make a Hippy Shooter

Your signature has been erased by a mod. The sig needs to be 600 width maximum (x 120 height) for all of it.

just replace the bulletholes with a transparent texture cause if you delete it you get white squares

If you edit go into the character's script file, there should be a few lines near the bottom that look like this:



Delete the "2", the "red", and the "blood" bit, and that character is then blood-free. Unfortunately you'll have to do this for every
character, and this can be a very time-consuming process.

This is actually useful for me... I don't really like the stupid looking fake-blood-sprites-from-the-first-mortal-kombat that come out every time you hit something - makes the game look cheesy... the splatters on the wall look good, but not the little spray decal that appears in front of the character - I'd like to get rid of that in my games too, so I'll give this a try.

I know how to get the REALLY fake looking Blood that shootes out of the person just go to files/gamecore/decals/ blood/ and then delete the blood file.

hey the guys up there. blood is not defining an fps, and the more less a GOOD game! you dont have to get splattered bodies or bodyparts on the floor to create a real good one, you have just to use your brain and create a believable world and a good story, and even a shooter can come along without thousands of gallons of red masses without beeing "unrealistic". look at the good robo- or space-shooters.

try to get away from all these zombie-apocalypse bullsh*t, there is more out there than this. i mean, ok, i have also fun with resident-evil and left4dead, headshots, ragdolls and i-kill-you-with-ripping-the-ribbs-out-of-you, but this kind of violence is not realy needed for a good game, and also not neccessary for an fpsc-game except you have no fantasy in your mind. its easier with because your eyes have more to look at, but with a little more thinking about your games you can kick the option with the red flood out.

my loveliest example for that: look at REZ for dreamcast, its a 90%PLUS-rated third person shooter without one drop of blood.
