i've to redraw most of the portraits, they are old version and now i'm more skilled at drawing portraits. so, i've to update and give them the same hand.

That's one of the things I fear the most with Mega Mash Mothers... The rabbit has the smoothest, best animation, where Mewtwo and Knucklefist aren't even rigged properly... I'll most likely have to re-do them at some point, just like your portraits

That same problem's why we decided to redo the media for WOR v0.19.

missions control:
im on 20 of 55 missions. then game will be 100% OK.

i'm at mission nr. 34...
it's hard to make a balanced mission, not too easy but not too hard.
changed mosts of the nebulae. now they're more spectacular than real.

just a step and i can upload this game.

i need to test 6 missions (the final and harder ones), plus test 6 extra missions and replay missions i didn't play because the mission line take a different path. yes, non linear campaign, just a few missions than can be out or in, but a not linear campaign.

added some new intros. 8 at the time, i planned to have at least 10 different intros.

edit:

Bishop with the -BURAN- is promoted to lev 4 - Veterans. and gain some medals, in only 12 missions!

Very cool what you've done my dear... I've had an idea today for your game ! Maybe you can add this option : if you feel that you gonna lose the game, you can roll on the field and shout "aie aie ! help me referee ! give him a red card!"
Just kidding

oh yes, i've the referee vessels fitted with a lot of red card ionic guns, and if you pay some money, he will help you....

then, yes the Italian version is ok, - è anche in italiano, anzi soprattutto in italiano, e che cazzo!!!! -

10 intros... intros are self playing mission files, so every intro is just 20 KB.

I was thinking more along the lines of: "Gotta be a lot of work making all those intros".
Really looking forward to the release!

well, every mission is about 30 min of work because i've coded a good editor (it will be released with the game, but sorry very few instructions... use it at your own risk!), plus 2 hours for trim mission. the long part of developing this game were media.
ships, textures, planets, effects, nebulae.... i spent about 1 year only for the media.

for intros is more essy, no trimming, 30 min or less and a new intro is done.

Well here's a ship which was built in space, and would be unable to land anywhere. Maybe on a water planet

You should try practicing with shaders, because i think from what i saw (browsed through the whole thread, including the Youtube video) it is only a nice shadow shader away from being a real competitive stuff. And maybe the face drawings but that would require two dozen 3d artists to accomlish some official looking thingy.

But, don't rest too long, as we wanna play.
Just kidding, of course. Hope you get better soon.

done. the game is 100% completed. it take about 20 months, but it is done.

just wait an hour and it will be uploaded in the program announcement.

END OF THIS WIP.

can i say one thing?

oh su*k dbpro, we have about 1000 plugin, tons of commands, but this program is a pile of junk!!!!
what about a clean and all integrated language? with all the best plugin fully working, without brums*its, well i manage to use 1/10 of the things i would like to use simply for unrecoverable errors of dbpro or plugin files. i will gladly pay even 200,300,400 euro for a complete working DBP. but no, at TGC the policy is small piece of software for small piece of money. we will never be "professional" if we don't have tools to be professional.
I'm sorry, i like DBP, but sometimes i hate it.

oh... it was for a long time i have these things across the throat.

100% agreed, someone finally had to say this.

And the fact an experienced AND proven member did it from the community gives the strength to it, so don't anybody dare jump into complaints.

THIS is the situation, DBPro has been so much times upgraded on so many different levels it's becoming SOME pain in the ass, it needs to be reorganized as a third installment like it did around 2002 (?) as i remember from Classis to 'Pro'.

This "tons of plugins" theory led to basically a mess where it is very hard to start for beginners, especially younger ones, and it isn't really helpful for experienced people either, who for this reason mostly go to try something else.

I have a feeling that AppGameKit is TGC main concern at the moment and an integration of plugins would be:
a)A right royal pain to impliment
b)A loss of revenue

I agree it would be nice but my guess is AppGameKit will be the one they market as a 'one stop shop' for making games and DBP will be their 'professional user' product.

I don't mind the plugins. I have most of them anyway and never had much trouble setting them up.

Looks really good!....keep it up....nice ship models...very creative. The game has a more reality look to it as if humans where going into space fot the first time instead of a fantasy look with ships that have to many unecessary details. I like it...nice work.
