Asus don't need to cost 5000! Heres one for 999 at Best Buy

hotlink wouldnt work so google "G72GX-RBBX05"

Aside from the CPU, the same amt of RAM, HDD and graphics card would be about 600 more for Dell/Alienware.

The one in the OP link is poor choice for FPSC because ATi graphics.

DO NOT GET THE BEST BUY ONE!!!!

the ones from the site have a 1 years accidental damage warranty. best buy usually tries to sell you their warranty.

I agree, asus is more reliable and a generally better choice than alienware, but be willing to pay a little extra for the accidental damage. you never know when FPSC will make you ACCIDENTALLY throw your computer out the window.

however, if you don't care about reliability, or your computer hotboxing, than grab a new alienware which have TWO gtx260's. poor pal of mine. he bought his about a month before they started putting 2 in/ he only has 1
