All you have to do is render some lights. makes things look more real! also im not trying to be a smart a$$ but put small details, such as door latches, bump map, normal map, small details make a big difference!

Edit: also learn GIMP and create metal textures, never use solid textures. run a simple noise onto the texture and a little blur
and you'll be in business. also learn to edit the UV map and not just texture a plain quad on the object.

Thanks for the comment Red Eye and Slayer, also thanks for the advise Slayer. The marble in the building was a pic from CG Textures made seamless with Gimp. I havent tried noise or blur. How would I make the windows on the grader transparent in DarkBasic Pro?

The grader is one solid model. It took me two weeks to skin it and about 1 minute to paint. How do I make the wheels and blade limbs? Would it be better to animate the wheels in blender and then manipulate the blade in DarkBasic so the user could choose how it turns or not?

There are I think a few commands like rotate limb in DBP. Also I think theres a Ghost limb on too, I know there there I just haven't used them. I had DBP when it first came out and those functions I don't think worked back then so give it a shot. Sorry for the late response... I post all over the place lol

Here is a model I am working on in Blender. It is textured in Blender. I used append to texture the seats and steering wheel differently. When I make the wheels and append them into the model, I want to parent them to the base jeep. Will this make them limps in DB Pro? Will the seats and steering wheel also be limbs? Here is the render:

Here is the wire of the guitar that I am working on:

Here is a capture of the model with texture:

I still have to model the keys and the strings. It has 640 fa right now. I think it looks pretty good. I am trying to get it ready for the prop competition. Hopefully I will finish it in time.
