Ok, I encountered this while coding my game, the case statements still work when put inside a remstart / remend comment. Here's a code, to demonstrate what happens:

The line shouldn't print, but it does, which is a clear bug.

Tested this on DBP 7.5 and I get the same problem with your code.

yeah, so I'm wondering how many other statements still work inside of rem...this is a pretty major bug, because I always use remstart/end to temporarily remove code, and now it seems not to work sometimes.

This is really annoying bug. I had encountered it in my code too.
Why isn't it confirmed or fixed, though it was found loooong time ago?
