Blender is a pain to learn but very rewording in the end. this is a mock up of hello kitty or in japan "Kitty Chan". This cat has fingers. The bones on the left side are not perfect to the right, (dam mirror did not keep the rotations proper)- I found out when I was done modeling and when I was going to animate. if you know blender its an easy fix.

fill free to use or edit, I don't know what I would use the model for.I was going to give it to some Japanese girl but I have a filling she thinks i'm nuts, I mean what kind of guy would model a cute cat?

the texture looks great, good job for your first blender model, also if you are having difficulty with the mirror function you can just try modelling in symmetry, to do that in case you don't know you just remove half of the polies on the model and then instead of doing shift D just use Alt D and it'll generate a replicate half which once scaled so that the x scale is at -1 not 1 any changes will update in real time to the other half, good job on the model but a proper render might show us the shapes a bit better i.e. the fingers

I prefer to use the mirror modifier, it does exactly the same, but you have more control.

@Mazz426 would it also update all the bone angles, positions and rotations? I could really use a good tutorial on making half an object with bones and just miring everything to make a complete working object!

Edit: also I don't know how to work the lights and rendering..
I make a camera and render and the lights don't effect the object,
I make a light and it wont fix anything. when I load the object into DBP lights dont even work on the object not even smoothing or ambient! ow well sooner or later ill understand how to fix it.
(I hope I do)

Wow, good job. I like the ribbon's texture, simple but effective.
Questioning your manhood though, lol.

Hey and as far as the color goes my mom helped me pick out the colors.
because I couldn't think ON MY OWN what colors to chose!

Edit: Also on the ribbon, I liked how it looked a little toon like.
I have no idea how to do cellshading/toonshading. I was just going to do some simple highlights and it ended up coming out like that.

I was suppose to make a AI program and use this object for the char.
But I went to jail and did allot of thinking and came up with a better idea instead of this one. I learned allot of blender and rather spend my time on a more cooler and advance project!

Also remember this object was to show a girl, (long story short.)
But like everything I do IT COMES TO AN END! hahahaha

Sorry but I do not know much about animation and a lot of things, but I would try make a long amimation in blender. It would have a start position that when the model did something it would revert back to the start position. Some of the animations would be waving, sitting and so forth. In DarkBasic you can play certain frames. Play Object 1,0,10 will play frames 0 to 10. You can also use loop. Loop Object 1,0,10 will loop frames 0 to 10. That information comes from Hands On DarkBASIC Pro Volume 2. I hope that helps some.

The rig should work in DBPro. You just need to export it correctly. I'm pretty sure the only format that DBPro is going to like out of Blender is a .x file. You can use my exporter to do it. Just follow the sig
