Hello everyboddy i had this great idea,

I wanto make a fps mmorpg and i am going to explain you what i mean.


A huge world lets say like world of warcraft you got safe spots and pvp areas you got shops quests and enemys now i wanto make something like this in fps creator (ofcours not with mowaks and elfs but with swat and armys) i know that this is a lot of work and i really want to do this now if anyone can explain me things that i need to do or scripts i should use for this i would aprichiat that or if anyone thinks he would like to join me would also be great (stuff i like to know)

Bank (make a bank where you can storage your items)
Safespot(how to make a safe spot so people cant attack eachoter)
shops (where you can buy items with money)
Money (like you kill somone or a monster it drops money)

this are the first questions i can think of as this wil already help me a lot ive buyed the full package a week ago im waiting for my download link but as i really wanto make this i hope people can help me start of wich would be great

fpsc doesn't have the networking power to make an MMO of any kind.

you cant make a mmofps with fps creator but;

I think you want RealmCrafter rather than FPSC.

Having said that FPSC v1.17 has very good performance so I think there is a lot more potential for interesting multiplayer maps in FPSC now.

You will never achieve achieve what you spoke of above. If you ever want to make a decent project with FPSC, work with it and what it can do rather than dreaming of what it can't. That, or buy Realm Crafter as someone detailed above.

Yeah, this is impossible to create with FPS Creator. Try Realm crafter. i'm not sure about this but i have seen MMORPG Games made with Dark Basic

Yea. Fpscreator is not what your looking for. In concusion... you can't. If you did you would be the smartest person i know.

I Know a mod which can do most of the things you want.


If you had a very good knowledge about making mods you could do all of the things you want like adding more spaces into the Editor

Have our guns was a mistake!!!

well lets say this:

i figured u cannot make things in 1 map but realm creater is also no solution so lets say next questions:

how manny players will a fpsc game hold?
is it possible to conect maps like u teleport to another map but at a difrend direction trough a difrend door?
is it possible to change a map size?
oke if its not posible to make an mmo(wich i think i will achieve
since i achieved a lot what menu options can you make?
like is there a standart menu make character functions etc?
about the map conecting again

i got 4 maps left rigth up both sides so u got a swuare

now i wanna go from map 1 to map 2 i walk to north direction ( in map 2 if i go down it brnigs me back to north position in map 1 but if i go rigth form map 1 to map 3 it brings me to west position than go back from, map 3 to 1 puts me at east position of map (hope people understand this)

is there a rank option?
like you need this rank to carry or use that weapon
is there an option for pay credits? like in combat arms u got gp and nx

nx is pay cash gp is cash u can achieve in the game

and of all the other questions people have answered like yes its posible but no one explained a bit so i hope some more anwsers

Including allowing an MMOFPS with FPS Creator? What is this mod you speak of...?

@kiiddo,

1) A normal FPSC game can hold up to 8 characters I believe, and with mods (Project Blue) you can hold up to 16.

2) Nope, not in multiplayer at least.

3) You have a 40x40 grid to work with already.

4) You simply CANNOT achieve an MMO, my friend. Not with FPSC, it is IMPOSSIBLE and that's that. Don't start thinking you could achieve that. I'm not trying to bash on you, but it's simply the truth.

5) There's no customisation when it comes to menu options, but you can change the icons for the buttons.

6) You can't change maps in multiplayer like that. It's impossible. In singleplayer you can with a little scripting.

7) Yes there is a rank option, but only with the FPSC IP 4 mod, which has a free version.

No it is not possible, they never said that you could create something even close to what you're thinking of.

okey well i got some other questions for you pw productions

1 u mean if i make an entire game theire can never be more people online than 8? even if i use a vps or dps?

2 so i cant edit menu? like i cant make options like shop wich contains to ur account and ranks?

lets say combat arms u know combat arms?
it contains ranks players can make their own rooms in side their rooms they can also chance settings like 100 kils win or capture the flag stuff like that
are players able to make their own room? and if yes u mean 8 players can join that room?

is it able to make teams to like a blue vs red team so players can sellect a team if the game is over players will get exp and coins coins to buy stuff from the shop and exp for their rank?

if all this is possible would u be able to tell me how?
