I've recently gotten back to work some stuff I had with fpsc x9 and began to look for any additions that would help make my game more fun and disirable to play, so here are some success and failures I've had with mods.

Rough system specs:
Quadcore Q6600 2.4ghz

8(decreased from 16gb)(1Gb ATI overclocked edition graphics card)
roughly 2TB of space.

Fenix mod (update 1.15) crashes when I try to load up TestGame

Fenix mod (update 1.16) same as above.

Fenix mod (update 1.17 (5) Begins to load game and then some green box pops up saying something about horror...etc..then crashes after pressing ok to continue. I've tried all obvious fixes and nothing seems to work.

Project Blue (not tried no demo of some sort?)wish for something so I could see if it even worked for me.

Firma (works perfectly)
Entity workshop (works)
FPI Editpad (works but needs resources) missing an ocx file.

efxmod (works) drawbacks are that sometimes textures do not display correctly or not at all, I just simply save and restart, usually fixes the problem. started testing from 1.15 to 1.17

Some might think my post useless and that's fine, but after searching the forums for awhile and having no luck with any really descent mods (fenix for example) I would just like to share some of my successes and failures.

I think you need to reinstall FPSC. It was doing the same for me at first because when the pop up came up after install stating it may not have installed properly I chose to hit the "it was installed properly" button and moved on. Always crashed on me. Reinstall and then reinstall using recommended settings and you will have no issues. I can run PB and Horror with NO problems and so does a friend with similar laptops and 64 bit Win7 so you just have an incompatible install of FPSC. Reinstall using recommended settings.

Everytime you update FPSC or install a mod, you need to run the FPSC Cleaner application.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

@DonWon "I've reinstalled several times with no luck.

@Marc "Thanks for letting me know that Project blue works on win7 x64, I may just go ahead and buy that, currently using efxmod and well, It's nothing compared to what I've seen from other stuff.

@Aaagreen "I always run the cleaner after an update.
