Hi. When i load a bitmap and texture an object on a plane of say, a mountainside, how can i make the plane stay level with the terrain since it is multi-leveled?

Confusing question... could you try to make this question a little more clear?

Are you asking how to find the height of a terrain object at a given point? If so how are you defining the point (IE.Centre of screen)?

Maybe you could provide a sample of code or a screenshot?

Then it's time to learn

Fun aside...

I read through your question 8 times, and I still can't quite make out what you are asking... Even cleverbot answered
... I'd like to help, please post a more understandable question

Thanks for the link @TheComet... unfortunately the first line I read irked my interest in the supernatural:

I think he means a backdrop to the terrain with a plane.
If you do mean that, than just position the plane so that the bottom is below your lowest point on the terrain. Or you could just use a skybox.

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.
