GameLock is a new and innovative software that protects any kinds of Windows games. Through its intuitive interface it guides the final user in a very important phase of the Game Creation process, the Game Protection.
Nowadays it can’t be possible to release a game without any kind of protection, even a basic one. In really fast time this game would be copied and diffused online.
There are various protection utilities avaible on the market, some that offer very basic protection, some that are so high level just as their price. GameLock is the best protection when not spacing in high level hardware disc-encoded protections which are really intrusive and also really expensive.
GameLock is the extremely balanced choice in game protection market.
It provides many features, many customizable options, to give you a very reliable and powerful software suite.

It comes out in three versions. The difference between the versions is the price, and many other features that are briefly explained with this chart:

An HD video demonstration can be seen at this link
http://vimeo.com/13077351

And in addition to all the stuff already included, the Enterprise version will bundle an useful utility to create fast Installers-Autoruns, to let you burn your game to your CD-DVD media in very speed time!!

The order evasion time can space from few minutes from the reception of your order to the maximum of 2 days in unlucky cases.

Looks great, I've been waiting for this. Getting the Enterprise version now One question - with online key validation, what happens if the user does not have an internet connection? Also, can the Task-Switching disabler be disabled?

EDIT: Payed. When will I receive the product?

With online key validation, the Internet Connection in required to authorize the game. After the game has been authorized, no more internet connection is required.
And for the Task-Switching, it cannot be disabled for security reasons .
You will be receiving your Product in minutes.

I think you should allow options for this to be enabled or disabled. Personally, I wouldn't want my users to be restricted in any way, and not being able to switch windows is pretty important and not much of a security risk.

Also, I'd like to see that if the user does not have an internet connection, it will accept a valid serial and then will validate when an internet connection is next available. I've gone many times without an internet connection, and not being able to install a game I just bought without an internet connection would annoy me.

Of course, it's your choice as to what you do with the software, these are only suggestions Great work, I can't wait for my copy.

Yes you're right on everything, but be sure that pirates use any way they can to break your protection, and slowing them down the most time possible is very important in this case
Did you receive your copy? In case you didn't please contact me with your correct e-mail (in this case you should send me the order ID to make sure I can identify you).

Yes, it can be used with Vishnu by not choosing any compression or encryption in GameLock interface, and then it can be packed normally as any other game.

I've got a problem with the online keys. When selecting unlock, the following message appears.

List index out of bounds (0)

GameLock is contacting my database though as I can see the entries it has been making. Any ideas?

Question: Say i was to make a game using a different engine, is this software compatible with protecting the game?

This software can protect a game made with any windows engine. So with DarkBasic, C++ custom made engine, unreal engine etc.

Did you add keys to the server? Did you follow the manual instructions? The game name must be the same from the GameLock Protector interface to the Web Server. The online key too.
If you want a fast guide to use the software with the online server, see the gamelock long video demonstration (on vimeo).
Please if you continue having this issue send detailed info to my mail.

I had a feeling I could be
It looks like quite a nice program although does it do any protection of the files while the game is running?

I can think of one method that could be used to get all of the files protected by this program with about ten minutes of coding.

Yes it does, it protects the main executable of the game. I'm firmly convinced that media protection (custom models, textures etc.) is totally useless in a commercial game. Firstly because your media is copyrighted by you so you have all the legal rights on them, secondly because it is slow, and nowadays, with these computer speeds, with these super 8-core processors, I don't think a user would be happy of spending 2 or 3 minutes when launching the game for unpacking it.
This is why I didn't include a media protection. And if users want, then they can use GameLock in combination with Vishnu.
