Well anything is fine as long as its not Horror. I mean Horror games are getting old. We need something new... I am currently working on something no one expected and it is top secret.

I like anything in a game! I especially like people who really pull some power out of FPSC and make something action packed, or massive, and I also love people who come up with completely original ideas and make the most unexpectedly good games!

For me, I notice a lot of little details about games that show polish and effort. The first thing I did when I got FPSC was try to find a way to keep the reloading animations from playing when the guns are full.

I'd have to say........ The Game Creators can make dreams come true.

Well it might be more helpful if I break it up for ya what I like in games

What Catches my Eye About a Game

1. Graphics
2. Interesting Cover
3. Recommendations from Friends (more linked to the rest since you gotta make a good game for this to happen ;D)

What Makes me thinkg about Buying It

1. Interesting catcher story (like an overview or a preface on the back of a book makes you want to buy it)
2. Features like Co-op mode, multiplayer, player versus player, multiple add-on levels, mod options

What keeps me interested so I actually care when you make something else

1. Good Storyline
2. Good Graphics
3. Lots of Puzzles, Searches, Clues, Adventure, a little of everything without losing on the action ;P
4. A good ending if it's a single game or a strong amount of foreshadowing if there's gonna be a sequel

I like being specific :3

Hmmm... good topic.

How about starting off with a couple of things that I DON'T like in games:

1. Time limits.
2. Inability to save when and where I want.

My reason for #1 is that I am a creeper. I tend to work my way slowly through a level, preferring to use stealth and finesse in favor of brute force. This is also a reason that I don't play co-op or multi-player games. I think I would drive others crazy with my style of play.

My reason for #2 is that there are times that I really need to exit a game prior to finishing a level, like when a thunderstorm is moving over my house. I live in southeastern USA, and we tend to get a lot of storms in the summer. I prefer to shut down and unplug when storms come up, so that I don't lose my system.

Now on to things I love in a game:

1. Compelling story.
2. Smooth, intuitive control of the character.
3. FPS with moderate RPG elements that truly have an effect on the player. I played a game not too long ago called Space Siege that was pretty neat and had some RPG elements that could have been killer if they had actually had a major effect on the character.
Two of the best games I have played are Deus Ex, and the sequel Deus Ex - Invisible War.

Just some of my thoughts. Interested to see what others say.

i think half life 2 is one of the best games ever- puzzles, action, horror, great ai, good charicter acting... etc

Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.

I like games like games which are past paced and never have a dull moment. One of my favorite games is Crysis (In fact I bought a new PC just to be able to play it at full settings )

My favorite Multiplayer games would be games like BattleField Bad Company2...

Cheers,
Anayar

Yh, crysis was a very fast pace shooting game, main reason I upgraded my PC was to play it in the highest ^_^

I bet the creators of Crysis had some sort of deal with graphics card companies because so many people bought graphic cards just to play the game at full lol

Cheers,

I think the most importants things in a game are

A good, complete and interesating sotry line, some that will intrigue the player, and the sotry should be clarified little by little through the game

and a

surround ambience, make the player sense with the sounds and the enviorment

i think if you manage that, you don't need extreme graphics for make a good game

-Why didn't God take gaga, justin bieber or kesha instead of Randy Rhoads, Cliff Burton or Dio?

-A good game is made of what you put in it, not of the features of the engine-

I say doom 3 was one of the best games, It had a good story, lots of action, good graphics, interactive computer/ access code screens, and overall great gameplay!

Well mine starts out sci fi and pretty, and then turns around and gets dark and intensly scary and gloomy with a lot of zombies.

Did yall check out my site? I now LOVE bloom even though i can barely test the game running at 16 fps but idc. Im hoping to upload it to steam. And i have some good cliff hangers ant the end, leaving room for a surprising sequal. Havent finished story yet, but when i do i will give yall updates
