Hi all,

I heard for a friend that you can package your media files (like sound, images, etc.) into the .exe file. However, he can't remember how. So I thought I'd ask.

How do I do this?

first, go into the program options in the editor and set the exe type to "media". Then, click on the "media" tab on the bottom (the second tab, has a sort of chart icon) and use the three icons at the top to add all the files you want to that list. once the media is imported, it'll all be ready for use, the files still work even when you are loading from a subfolder, it takes care of that.

Oh ok kewl.

So I opened up DBPro, on the bottom right there is a tab called Settings and at the top right there is an option named "EXE with attached media". Is that it?

If so, I then went to the Media tab and started adding all relevant medias. But kinda sucks how you can't just select an entire folder, or at least do multiple imports =/

sounds like you're using the old editor, I'd recommend updating it, the new editor is much better and lets you import folders and multiple files at once.

This is kinda embarrassing, but where do I find the latest update?

Also, I just finished making the .exe and it works!

I think help > "check for updates", or somewhere on the dbpro section of the tgc site...
