Hi all,

I had a strange problem with one of my friends when I tried giving him a copy of my game.

He received an error saying that the following file is missing:

dbprosetupdebug.dll

What's up with that? I thought that the only things required to play your game is the .exe and any media files. Or the .exe with the media files in it.

That's wierd. Check out this thread I found:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=40633&b=1

I suspect that's not the cause, but make sure that your friend has DirectX installed.

You can find the installer here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

I'd package it with your normal game installer in any completed project. Also, make sure you're using the latest version of DBP.

If you still have problems, let us know.

I don't use the debugger but it could be you are compiling in debug mode?
