Yes! I did map and i didnt put a single light and its still full lighted...References are set to "Best for quality" and full lightmapping and High Texture quality.

In project setting i have set ambience to 0.

Before the new upgrade maps were dark, whats the problem now? =0

1) Make sure full shaders are turned on (prefs and build game)
2) Make sure lightmapping is turned on (prefs and build game)
3) Go into "Build Game" "Global Settings" and re-enter your ambience levels pressing Enter key after each one

Then you should be ok

Add a static light somewhere in your map. Anywhere...

Are you sure that the level isn't overly bloomed? Try using this key < and this key > to adjust the global settings when in test game.

i am having the same problem as you! ive tried everything and all you get is bright netural lighting. ive even tried adding Black lighting to counter-act it but it doesnt work.

Ive got a feeling its a problem with the 1.17 update?

The only thing that happens when you update to 1.17 (at least as long as you do it the way they tell you and remove all, install v1 then update to v1.17) is all your preferences, build game, setup.ini etc are reset and you just need to put everything back is all.

For me it was just a mater of turning on full shaders again, enabling lightmapping and setting up my ambience settings and all was well.

um i dont know if this was fixed in v117, but before in my build games you could use < and > to change ambient light. it was pretty embarrasing in computer class when they figured it out haha

I don't know is it taller than mine? I've been wondering if mine was too tall (high).

Back on topic.

This is what I set my ambience:

:state=0:ambience=15,ambiencered=125,ambiencegreen=125,ambienceblue=125

Addendum:

If you haven't changed the following to 0 then you might want to try that as well.

newblossershaders=0

It is just before the postprocessing flag.
