I have upgraded to v1.17 full and have more than one problem with lights now. If I turn on full Shader Effects in eather test game or build game (tried both because I just wanted to see the effects) if I place even a single Static light in the level it offsets the game geomentry several grid spaces to the right. This problem disappers when I use Dynamic lights, but as we all know they eat up mem rapidly.
The dynamic lights also have the effect of White outing 90% of the area they are placed in. Some mesh's of multi mesh room segments will work but most white out. I thought the bloom.fx was the fault for that so I followed the advice from here on the forum and backed up my setup.ini and buildsetup.ini and disabled Bloom.fx. I still have the white out effect and the displacement of the intire level if I use any static lights.

I have read that others have had this same light thing happen with other builds and screen shots look just like my problem. FPSC v1.16 works perfictly for me, not one issuse.
Is there any other tips for me to try or could I just have one of those it's just NOT going to work systems?

The displacment problem is super werid,I am experiencing it too. But it's werid because if I place one segment from Metro Theater it works.

Pirate Myke I have Images ready to post but I've never used a site that only allow's off site Image posting. DAZ3D and DevART allow straight uploads to the forums. I have no idea how to put them on this forum. I understad the need, I've just never did it.
changer bandit I'm very new to FPSC X9 and I can only buy what I really need. The Theater would not work in my design at this time or fit my budget. From reading these forums I think the reason it works for you after a load of MT is because it loads bond1's fx. Dont ask me why that would work. I know bond1 is the man when it comes to shaders and 1.17 uses his shader design, maybe I need one of bond1's other shaders? Everything I have is vannila FPSC.

You can upload images to the forum, but only one per post. Select the attachment using Browse, then in your post a view button will appear letting others view the image.

I would try re-installing FPSC 1.0 and then the patch 1.17

Back up allv your FPSC files before doing so.

(just run the repair.

Sorry I have not been back before now but three days a week I'm under medical care.
You will find attached the image of the problem I described. The test was run using stock FPSC Scifi segment's Full Labatory in a 3x3 room with Blinking Corridor as a 3 segment hall. I used Control room auto door for the connection.
As you can see the whiteout happens even without shader effects turned on. For this image it is default FPSC install with v1.17 upadte, so Bloom is active as stated in the addenduim. I will test the bloom effect later today by turning it off. The lighting is set to Full for all the test images.
I will be upgrading my PC soon so this issuse my just go away. My current PC is old and stock with a wippy vid card. FPSC X9 v1.16 runs like a charm on this PC, so i'm able to design using that for now. If I could get the full effects before I upgrade that would be great.
Thanks again for all the help.
