Since I'm new to physics engines, I started with the pinball tutorial that came with Box2D. I then began to go through the help file (command by command) and organize the commands for myself. Some of the commands weren't particularly clear on their intended frame of reference (no offense intended to anyone - I'm just thick), so I appended notes where needed. For example, b2GetBodyLinearVelocityX returns the x component of the velocity for the center of mass (not the body as the command name implies) with respect to the world.

The attached PDF represents my current understanding and may be useful to others. As I continue to explore Box2D, I will revise this sheet and post updated versions of it. If more experienced users have any suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.

I can see how some of the help files can be unclear with regard to frames of reference, etc.

I'll update the help files for the next update to clarify the points you highlighted

Nice work DrT, I've been meaning to start looking at this plugin for a project I'm working on...
