yes when i reload the gun the animation finishes first than the audio
FPSCx10 tech demo: it lags....
now,i remember whit my old laptop,FPSCx9 whas laggy. i had vista but it whass playble. in Windows 7 (on my old laptop) it lags even more and in the editor too.

i believe gizmo guy is referring to your spelling errors which is plenty, not having a go but it's a valid observation.

as to your wording it is all over the place.

i am making out your having trouble with fpsc and its frame rates.
and i am assuming it is since you bought a new pc with graphics card.

i have a hd 5850 and since i reloaded x9.0c and x10.1 and updated my drivers from ati i have both running exceptional.
(can get them drivers from microsoft site.)

the editor does lag on windows 7 but not as bad as what your saying, have you checked compatibility thread created by next? it is the lower end of the hd5000 series. saying that though 5000 series should run x10 smooth so i suggest

uninstall fpscx10 then

do a good clean up ccleaner and disk cleaner defrag etc.

then
load up directx9.0c

load up directx10.1 sdk

then go to amd site and update your drivers

then re install x10

then update x10 by going to help menu and turning off all firewalls.

then when all uploaded run and then report back and tell me if any of this helps.

p.s be nice x10 is a happy place

hope it works

and have a beer

x10 and x9 need you to load the x9 and x10 graphic drivers,
x9 will not work properly unless you have x9.0c installed and x10 will not work properly unless you have x10.1 installed, not sure about anything else but x11 alone to my knowledge wont run x9 or x10 without hiccups.

i downloaded from microsoft website the drivers needed to run the game makers.

and even though a new pc you will already have a lot of displaced files, but that is just an auto thing for me to do.

and ok about the english i was not having a go i pointed out why gizmo sent that message.

i am not concerned about spelling and as long as people are happy i will help.

you must download/install both

x9 works for fpsc x9
x10 works for fpsc x10

Riiiight, so bascially, X10's editor and game are lagging on your system?

From the looks of it, you need to install DirectX 10.1, not X11. DirectX 11 has been noted to cause a lot of problems in the X10 version of FPS Creator. Also, do you have any background programs running? They can take up large processing amounts too .

Already been covered.

Also, if you have power saving options, make sure to turn them off.

What we mean is the actual DirectX itself, you need to download the 10.1 update. Try that and tell us what happens .

Hang on, I checked over and DX11 contains 10.1 with it.. d'oh! I'd check ATi Catalyst Control Center to see if it's underclocked (the Tune settings would be changed) or if quality is tuned to maximum.

As suggestible as it is, I laughed at that . Try reducing your ATi settings to low since it may be affecting the editor.

I don't know what to tell you. Every driver's up to date? You don't have RAM-crunching programs such as anti-viruses running?

The following things need to be checked they may have been said before but i'm telling you them now to get them all in one place.

1. Check that your system requirements are supported by FPSC X10 on this thread http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=138684&b=33.

2. Check that your graphics card driver is up to date and is at the latest version offered by your manufacturer.

3. Ensure that all other programs are closed while using FPSC X10 this includes going into process explorer and closing any processes that are not needed.

4. If you can support 64bit OS then install it you will get very large speed increases.

5. Check your FPSC X10 version is up to date. Yo could even try using Mystic Mod also as that may help you gain some speed.

6. Ensure you have Direct X10.1 vista and windows 7 are very bad at telling you what version you have and get it wrong all the time. So just in case install Direct X9.0c FIRST then install Direct X10.1

7. Make sure your running FPSC X10 as an administrator and not using any Compatibility settings.

8. Please read the specs thread FPSC X10 does NOT support Direct X11 it will never work almost everyone that tries to use Direct X11 has issues that cause crashes, slow downs or even failure to launch.

9. Hope and pray.

If none of that works there is nothing else left to suggest and go take to TGC support.

One major issue I see here is that he said FPSCX10 was the First App he installed after windows 7 was installed. That kinda sounds like a bad move as I did something similar back when I had Vista and FPSCX9. Got a boat load of werid crashs and lags. Update All your drivers. Also FPSCX10 has issues with DX11, Try removing that. Or if you want to take the risk. How bout wiping you pc and installing windows 7 again, this time. Installing all the updated drivers and direct X needed before you install FPSCX10...Im not sure if that will help out at all. Try what The Next Just posted and see if that helps or like he said

Good luck

The no walk sound is a FPSC bug i don't have it in the newest version so i suggest you try re-installing the newest update this may also fix the corrupted gun image as it may have copied badly.

All the best

I have a similar problem. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, and for some strange reason I can build levels on FPS creator x9, but not test them it just crashes. Help? When I had Xp everything worked perfectly.

W7 is not officially supported by FPSC, so therefore, you're going to have a lot of crashes and bugs.

This is the X10 board support for FPSc X9 is not handeled here.

FPSC X9 does work on Windows 7 32bit i have it running fine but it takes some changes to UAC and other settings to run go ask at the X9 boards.
