This is the script I'm using. I've also messed around with the animations files a bit following some guides on the forums here. Nothing seems to be working for me, I mean is this stuff supposed to be only effective on stairs? or shouldn't I be able to blast a few and watch'em go into ragdoll? Most of the time they simply fall back, or there legs bend and fall back. Any help is appreciated.

Is the "suspend" action really needed in that script?? as I always thought that action told the engine to ignore this entity/script? from now on ??

It's basically the default leave corpse script with ragdoll attached, however...I'm just learning to script so I have no idea, I would think perhaps it's supposed to allow time for ragdoll to take effect.

**EDIT** Nbt do you have a msn? would like to ask you a few more simple questions, and I don't want to flood the forums.

Sorry I don't have MSN, plus I can't script with fpi to save my life, as it makes zero sense to me at all and so many things in it don't even work lol

I removed suspend, and oddly enough, that's my best result so far!!! woot! I'm happy now. I've also been searching on how to raise volume in sound zones, I cant seem to find that one out either. this forum search function isn't my friend today or something.

The forum search is rubbish in my personal opinion as it relies heavy on people giving good topic titles, use the google one next to it.

The only thing I can see to adjust sound volume is "soundscale = x" x being the volume of the sound (or the percentage of the existing volume), but like many of the fpi commands it does not seem to work

yeah, that's what I'm trying to do, need to adjust my cannon sound. I managed to write a script that will give it a distance effect (meaning the farther away the lower the sound (vice versa) however I need to raise the volume a bit for when my player is right on the cannon.

Maybe add a sound zone right ontop of the cannon with a louder version of the sound in it ?? the slight echo effect could actually enhance the effect of your ears getting bent?

Also to be honest we should not have to script it make the sound decrease over distance, as that is the whole point of 3D audio. The area taken by the sound zone should do all that

Yeah, I figured it should have worked that way to, however with just the default one sound loop in zone it would quit doing anything at all after I left the zone, now it hums it tune in the background, any idea how I could make the sound more loud? I'm lost of that subject.

Apart from actually running the audio file through an audio editor and increasing the overall volume, no mate
