I was wondering how to edit the floor and the roof if it is in the same cell.
So if i have a floor with another layers roof directly below it, how can i have it so it has different textures on either side

Make a 2:1 texture, like 1024 x 512 (which is like having 2 512x512 textures) or whatever size you want. with your 2 textures one each side. Then edit the UV Map of your floor mesh so the top aligns with one side and the bottom aligns with the other. Export your mesh to .x, edit your .FPS with your textures location etc and your done.

Otherwise just make separate ceiling meshes that are a little lower than the floor above and apply as you would a floor.

another way to get what you want is to put the propper cieling for thr lower level as the floor and then make an overlay that has the floor texture you need for the room above.

Get firma( its free) or get Signs V (worth the price, but not available anymore i think.)

Both programs can make double side tiles with different textures.
