Nice Addition Josh

I know its not strictly a model, but you could put these into the model database in cube form. They wont sink and be forgotten about that way

Lol, I think I'll do that. I'd post this on the 2d board, but then no one would ever seen them.

Second pack complete, first post updated.

Nice work! I really like the wood planks, but I really don't like the gradient overlay you put on them in the second pack.

Did you follow any particular workflow when drawing them? (I'm assuming that's what you did anyway )

Ah, the overlay was to give it a worn away look from carts and the like.

I made each element separate, and each texture is really a different arrangement. The big elements like the grass and dirt where drawn all in one go. Everything is hand painted...er mouse painted. My wacom pen broke so this was good practice with the mouse.

Ah, that stinks.

I think a better worn look would be to create a partial overlay (use the mask tool to select where you want the tracks, and then copy and paste the wood planks layer, and apply a slight desaturation w/ brightness & a decontrast), so that you wood all stays the same color and such, but where the wagons have run over, it looks worn, rubbed away/frayed/splintered/whatever.

Now I really want to try doing that, but I don't have time before school starts Perhaps later...
