is there a way to make a character walk freely around your map?

... You can walk freely on map. What's the problem just make level where you can walk on ground.

im talking about friendly and enemy ai to walk around as if they are like you but just going through doors and going up stairs and stuff like that

you can search around in the scripts board for a civilian script.

I'd have to say........ The Game Creators can make dreams come true.

luke setup a nice waypoint network and let the AI wander about. They will chose random routes from your way points, going up/down stairs, through doors etc.

ok thanks i got one more question

im making a horror and a girl walks past at the end of the hallway what i want is when you get the end of the hallway the girl is in a room but the door is locked and is closed but then i also want blood coming from the bottem of the door as if she been killed but in reality shes not. is there a way to do this because everytime she opens a door she leaves it open.

Well as the girl walks past the end of the hall way, you in fact don't really need her to even enter a door. Just place the door our of the players site (in the direction she has walked) and then destroy the girl at the end of her path (of course out of the players sight) near the door.

In the end the player see's her cross the hall way he/she is walking up and will of course turn the way she walked on getting to the end of the hallway. Will see the door and guess the girl entered it, maybe a little triggered sound of a girl crying/dying as the player approaches?

Then make your blood seep at the same time.

Use a trigger zone to spawn the girl with her main script set to follow the waypoints. Then set the length of the life to a few seconds so she dies and dissapears before you get to the corner. More detailed instructions in the official first person community guide here:

You can just make a copy of the follow.fpi and change the last line to destroy and then you won't have trouble trying to time her life. As she will die when reaching the end of the waypoints.
