Hey guys and gals!

So I have been really busy with personal life lately and haven't given anything to the community in ages! So I thought I would make a sky box for you all to enjoy.

It was really just a test to see if I actully could make a half decent sky box and although it didnt turn out great, I think it can still be used by some people.

Just unzip the folder and put the NiceForest folder in your skybank.

Enjoy!

Great work and better than my 1st attempt.

I'm using the new free version of Bryce 7 so I'll definately have to look into Vue also.

Recognised it right away as Vue, which version are you using?
Trouble with Vue is it only uses single cpu, Vray scatter does a better job in that respect.
The free vesion of Bryce7 only permits non-commercial use for its renders unfortunately, I dropped using Bryce long ago as it does not produce realistic skies, false colors, no depth and the render engine's a donkey.

Yeah if you have used vue before, you can recognise a render straight away. Indeed the single core usage is somewhat of a pain. Im using 7 at the moment, I cant afford to upgrade to 8 just yet and there arn't many features that aren't available in 7 already.

I could never get bryce looking realistic, all though if it is free than I guess its understandable.

Vue also has a free version which has the same limitations as bryce i believe. Or pay $99 for Vue Frontier, Its actually a great deal for what you get.

I had to buy the full version so I could import scenes into C4D.

What do you use Rolfy?

Nomad soul, Definitly give Vue Pionier a download. It is really fun to use!

Hey there buddy! Great to be back, one thing I have noticed with this forum is no matter how long I spend away, I always want to come back. You just can't fight the urdge to come back! Its like a drug that I just can't seem to shake.

Edit: Sorry mgarand missed your post! No they were rendered in with the whole skybox. If you ask me they are a bit harsh but to be honest I could nitpick at this thing forever! I just wanted to get it done and release something.

I've just downloaded VUE pioneer 8.1. What are the differences between this and the full version?

Well the full version allows you to render bigger resolutions, also has a way of automatically creating an eco system.

There are loads of other features like plant editing and rednering animations.

But since all of these cost quite a bit, pioneer is a great place to start.
