I haven't been on here for a while and I just checked out the new features in the migration thread. This is nuts!
May I ask how the performance is? Because if they just added those features on top of FPSC in the state it was in, it must run unbearably slow right now.

Performance is really quite good.... Lee and friends actually went back FPSC 1.0 and started from there which was a smart move... has improved on a great many things..

That's not a good example of good performance

I have to congratulate that win.

I think FPSC's doing well in it's own right, but I still don't like the lack of performance or features...

60 FPS straight with at most 10 DarkAI enemies, particle effects and bloom.

If something is perfect, it probably doesn't work. -PWP

Epic!

Seriously, though, I've had a great time with it. It just keeps getting better and better. Especially with all the new bond1 shaders and particle effects. In many cases with everything on high it still runs faster than older versions with nothing on at all It's far more stable to boot!

Hmm...I may have to download this update. Not sure how well it will run on my archaic computer. The computer and graphics card are fine, but I have a 2.19 GHz single core processor holding me back.

But seriously, I came back and saw they added depth of field, bloom, ragdoll, particles, shaders, Blue's variables, Dark AI, the lipsyncing thing, and some other stuff that's currently escaping me. That was startling.

I have seen great improvement in FPS with several maps.

I don't use enemies real heavily though, don't see a need to have 100+ enemies in one map....

I get more errors and freezes, while loading test builds now though.. easily fixed with memdump and cleaner though..
