yes, when you go into a trigger zone a static object become dynamic... can anyone help me?

Im not sure you can do that as of now, but maybe in a future version.

I suppose you could write a little script that destroys the static object and then spawns a dynamic one. That would be about the same effect I guess.

Erm... static objects become part of the physical area on building the level and would look rather silly if they were destroyed/changed to dynamic. As they would leave behind shadows from light mapping.

Nope. Static objects cannot use scripts. They cannot be spawned or destroyed during the game like dynamic objects can.

Spawning a static entity is like spawning a segment (they are both part of the geometry),it just can't be done.

Not that you would ever need to do that anyway. If you want something to be switched to dynamic why not make it dynamic to begin with?
