Does anyone else have DM2?

I can't get the animations to play. With the DM1 models it's as simple as loading, scaling up and looping the object.

With the DM2 model Dark Basic reports 104K anim frames and does nothing when I loop the object. I have tried this with the viking and the samurai...

Code snippets appreciated!!

when you say 104k animations frames, do you mean 104,000? Ifso it seams that there number of frames was inflated when they exported the model. If so the reason you dont see anything is that the animations are so slow you dont notice it. Try speeding your animations 1000 times there current speed.

There is some source code that comes with the full install of DM2. In there you will find the extra knowledge you need to play your animations. They are playing, just extremely slowly by default. A speed of 6400 will make them look better for you

I dont have DM2, however by you're description it seems the models
use "ticks" rather than "frames" for the animation timing.
Usually the ticks holds a value of either 160 or 210.

To keep the code more readable you can write something like this :

loop object ObjNum,30*160

Where 30 is logical fps you want the animation to run at, and 160
or 210 are the ticks value.

Me, You, DBP and everything else, were made in the same place. The Stars!
I wonder what kind of matter DBP bugs are made of ... antimatter ??
