FPSC Classic Product Chat / Static lighting issue - some entities are full bright

FPSC v1.17

Some entities appear fully lighted on all sides regardless of light position/intensity.

For example, see the attached photo. I have only 1 light placed on this level set at 250 directly in front of the first building on the right but entities which are far out of its range are fully illuminated.

Any ideas as to what would cause this?

I had something similar in our SciFi development. I went into the setup.ini file in FPSC and edited the following:



I think that was all I did and it now looks much better.

whoops! I paid more attention to the build just now and found that turning lightmapblurmode off jumped me from 1272mb to 1795mb. YIKES! I'm not done with this level yet either lol!

It does look as though the postprocessing option is the one that corrects the lighting issue though.

this didn't help me. I it's so annoying to test a game and have everything so bright! Like fps always has problems. why?
