Well, for me it only took 3 days or so. It kinda depends on the country you live and other things, I guess. Some of the plugins (eXtends, Dark Clouds, Pure Plugin, Tree Party, etc...) are downloads, and DBPro (Dark Basic Professional), DarkShader, Plant Life, and some other products are send by mail. But, there's also a downloadable FREE version of DBPro that you can play with untill your DVD arrives.
Anyways, welcome to the TGC forums, and enjoy your stay here. Good luck with your game creations!

Cheers

No, 3 days untill I got the DVD case. The downloadable programs (plugins) was a little earlier.

As far as I know, the free version can't be activated to make it a full version, because it IS the full version. The only difference is that the free version has an advertising screen wich shows the player that you made your game with a free version. I don't know if you can sell anything with the free version.
But, since you've ordered the full version, you shouldn't have any problems selling the games or applications you'll make with it. So, yeah, you'll best uninstall the free version once you've got the full version.

You don't need to. The free version is exactly the same as the paid for version. it's only the editor which is different as it shows adverts. (But you can download other editors which will work perfectly fine with the free version and do not show adverts.)
