This level is only for test performance.

Info:
up arrow or W = front
down arrow or S = back
left arrow = turn left
right arrow = turn right
a = move left
d = move right
e = Take item, weapon ammo etc..
z = 3ps
x = fps

note: In this demo i delete sync rate 60.

Well, for two days of work, this looks very polished. I like it! Will it be some sort of a First Person Shooter? Is there a story to it too?

"Animation movie engine": yep i try to show some story there, lokk like old halo game.. ( i try) but in more low polygon optimize for netbook.
for now work in 3er person (3PS) and you can go to Fps when the game play need..

I found 2 bugs in the aspect of my models.. tranps. error are fix, but in my particle system when 2 transp. object are over other object this loose their transparency..mmm..any idea..

You could try different transparency modes for that bug, I think I normally use "set object transparency obj,2"

thanks josh, for now i remove HUDS, and try to change them for real 3D elements.. and then you have a more real view of this game, but i'm a modeler not a programer and make this code is hard for me .. i need an aspirin ç

Looking great, I hope you can get it finished in time as it's a real contender! Keep it up!!

One small thing on the animation was the speed of the knife strike seemed a bit slow. Other than that it's all top notch!

One thing I wonder: are you using mouselook? Netbooks only have touchpads, typically.

Hum, it appears so. That could become a problem.

Other than that, it looks well done! Great modelling and animation!
I also noticed that the skybox isn't rendered completely? You should raise the camera range 'far' value.

reason: This features are off for have a god screen fps in frap.

I think it's wrong to assume the touchpads can't be used in a game. I was even thinking of doing a game using only the touchpad.

If you are happy with how it plays then carry on I'd say!

mouse and keys work fine in engine, but always is better using a UsB mouse.. ha ha

Honestly I always carry a wireless mouse with me when I have my laptop, I seriously hate those touch pads.

Yep, it does look very nice. But, if I were you, I would dump the ATARI sign, though. I don't think the folks at ATARI would love the fact that you use their sign or name in your game. Unless you have a deal with them?

@Neodelito

I played your demo several times. You have definately good modelling skills! It is very modern and high tech, both your environment as your characters. The chicks dancing is greatly done. But, is it normall that they are untextured (they appear completely white)?
There are still some bugs that need to be solved. Like, the screen resolution is probably set to a normal PC or laptop, and not a netbook, right?
When you start the game, you see the level menu. The rotating menu is very nice and inventive, but for some reason, it didn't respond good on my PC (maybe it's just my mouse). There is a grammatical error too in the level menu ('rescue' instead of 'recue').
As for the gameplay, I think that the main characters animation should be faster. I got stuck twice in one of the models. The first one was one of the motors (nice high tech model!), and the second time it was one of the walls (I think?). The controls work fine, except for the aiming (I don't know if that is my mouse, or not?). And, another bug is when you die, the screen turns blue and there was no keyboard response (I had to press escape to exit the game).
But overall, this could be a very nice game, without the bugs. The music was great too!

R:in this version yes, this is a old bug (fixed)(clone object but not texture )..

R: this is first recommended resolution. now change to 1024x600 this demo is for killing bugs..

ha ha.. please this demo is a bug tracker.. no have levels.
In the actual and finish engine, when you die, the engine send you to the menu level (menu is other level). but in bug tracker i upload this not exist.. you die ... only die.. sorry.. final engine and editor are ready.. only left finish levels.. (and add this ugly dll from intel)

wow..I like the low polygon enemies. Its very nice how you managed to use alpha transparency to reduce the number of polygons.

my graphics device is out..
(burn condenser)
i get my pc back in 4 days for repair.. so i'm out of this compo..
- first in mega eartquake i lost all my pc's
- second all my code is deleted ..
- now my graphics card blow-out..
Really i need have a rest..
