I need help with getting a model into working FBX format. It's an X file, with animations that need to be preserved, however I can't find a way to get it into Max without skinning errors or animation corruption, so I'm wondering id anyone here's attempted something similar and can help?

Milkshape has a FBX exporter doesnt it??

Why not import the model to Milkshape and export it as a FBX file??

Cheers,
Anayar

It doesn't work. The Milkshape FBX exporter doesn't export the mesh... :/

The Fragmotion one doesn't even do anything, just sorta ticks, lags a minute then makes no file... :/

Yup, I need this within four. To test a theory before we ship a demo to the publisher...
