I am a long time user of Darkbasic Pro and I just rebuilt my game developement box and am now going through a re-install of the DBPro software. While looking at the system requirements on the website it stated that DBPro supports DirectX 9c or later.

The DirectX version I was using prior to the rebuild was 9c, but this statement leads me to believe that DBPro will now support newer versions? If so, what is the newest version of DirectX I can use with DBPro? Are there any known drawbacks to using a version newer than the "tried and true" 9c?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

With DB Pro , you should always be able to use the latest version of DirectX 9.
