Hi,

I've been loading up .X models into my DBpro project, then scaling them via an axis to "extrude" them out. But this is a work around, as I'm not happy with this work flow.

So I was wondering about various other methods that I could use to generate this same effect. Such as, draw my 2D profiles in DarkBASIC Pro, then extrude those profiles out, by-passing the need for any .X model files at all.

I've searched these forums, and the little information that I did find on this procedure was a tad beyond me at this stage.

The simplest example of what I'm trying to achieve would be to draw a square, then extrude that square into a cube.

Edit: Am I on the right track with memblocks, as per this thread?

Or should I invest my time in mesh's, such as found here...

Cheers in advance for any advice,
BFM
