DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / DBPro - examples problem?

Ok hi there im evaluating the DBPro at the moment, and i've had a look at one of the neat examples is the particl example (click and the mouse makes particles).

When i press the play button when looking at the file in the "DarkBASIC Professional Help File" window, it works no problem. But when i load its .DBPRO file from the disk it tells me that it

"could not load the object on line 14" which is the sky shape file. This IS located correctly as per the location string, so why wont it work that way?

you have to specify the path of what your loading.

unless you have the .dbpro file in the same folder as the file in wich you are loading.

you can also have a sub-folder in there ahhh for example

load object "sub/rudolf.x",13;

the file rudolf.x is in the folder "sub" wich is in your project folder where your .dbpro file is.

Unfortunately not as the file location is correct, i even tried specifying the FULL path, and that sorta worked but with major graphical issues. I have made NO changes to the example beyond that.

Oh dear and you cant name objects like you can in normal BASIC
(e.g. "land=loadmatrix(...)") No answer to the above, and this means i'll probably go to blitzmax!
