I was really bored,so I though why not write some php scripts.I haven't used php in a long time.

This little system is pretty basic,but effective and easy to implement.

What it does is,It requests the user to enter a serial,given to him from the author of the game,to be able to download it.It has an admin panel where you can add games and serials (or delete them).

The serials are 20 symbols.The game is recommended to stay on your server in the files/ folder,because it is protected from direct access.

Your game must be in an archive.


Interface screen :

UPDATE - BETA 2 Released.
Added : Option to buy serials and Option to reactivate serial via e-mail.Uses PayPal for correspondent.

Update - The BETA is released.Download in the first post!

Instructions to make the PayPal - GetKey.php correspondency work :

1.Open PayPal.com and login to your account
2.Click Profile and then choose Instant Payment Notification.
3.Turn it on!
4.Set the Notification URL to the link of the GetKey.php file on your website and click Save.

5.Create a simple button and put a price for a serial.
6.Add the button code somewhere on your site.

I don't recommend putting more than one game in your database as of yet!I also haven't tested the script for obvious reasons.Do it at your own risk!

Nice Saves time for those that want a system such as this in place and don't have time/know how to set it up. That, or it at least gives a core framework to start with and either change or expand it.

I did try to inject the database file and received an error on one of our servers. Then I noticed I had to update my SQL on that server, as it was only at 3.xx. Glad I tried this out when I did.

Appreciate the work put in this. Thank you.

Yes,this is the idea.As it states it's a beta and is far from complete,but I will continue work on it .

I've already planed out a few things :

1.Option to delete only serials and not game with them.
2.Plugin system.
3.Option to re-activate serial via e-mail incase download fails.(very important)

All of the above listed will be done in 1-2 days approx.

Beta 2 Released!Download in first post.

What's new?

1.Added option to reactivate serials via e-mail.
-Method is simple : You enter your serial,an activation key is sent to you,after you click on the activation link the activation key in the database changes so that next time your serial is deactivated you won't be able to give out a link and make it possible for thousands of people to download with 1 serial.
2.Added more variables in CONFIGURE.php.
3.Fixed some DB issues and added the forgotten sql table code...
