As you can see I made the top of a car, whats the best way to start making the side from this using an image? It's really confusing me because from the side you can't tell what vertice is what.

dont bump your threads like that, you want to model simultaneously on all axises, also use a cube instead of just vertices, looks to me like you'll have to start again unless you want to spend ages bringing the correct vertices down to the right points, if you want to do that you should select the vertices from above and then shift to the side view to move them into place, id start again modelling from a cube or a plane and model on all axises at the same time

Oh, well I was using a picture for the top so I didn't know what I was gonna do :/

I've started modeling cars the same way, turned out the method didn't work. What you have to do is model the car from pictures. Open google and look up some photos (filter for large pics), then model the sharp lines first then connect it all together and only use the blueprint as a guide for the general shape.
Try to look at a picture and draw the polyflow over it.
