I emailed Rich at DBPro over six weeks ago concerning a problem that I was having regarding changing the icon of my DBPro executable.
I attached my icon file in the email as requested by him. And I haven't heard from him since. I emailed him two weeks ago again, but still haven't got a response from him. The problem that I was having was that once I added the icon file to the icons panel, the next time around when I load the project, it gets an error saying it cannot find the icon file. I haven't downloaded patch 5, but does anyone have this problem? Is there a workaround? I have a fully functional program and the last thing that I need to do is to use a different icon for my executable. As of now, every time I compile a new exe, it automatically generates the DarkBasic logo as the exe's icon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i used a .bmp and it works fine for me, make sure the .ico is in the same folder as your .exe.

I found out where the problem is - I can't use the ReOpen option to open the project after adding the icon file. But even now that it accepts my icon file, when I compile a new exe, it still generates the Darkbasic logo as the exe's icon. What's going on here?? Anybody knows?
