Well, I can see that you're not finished, but my crits would be to add some more realism to the model. Determine what can and can't be solved via normal maps, and model that in, as well as using reference images to get as much realism from the reference pic as possible. http://www.pixagogo.com/DeicideNBF This website is pretty good for finding the reference image for many guns, just find the AK there.

looking quiet ok! however, turn down the polies on the barrel, a 12 sided cyl or MAXIMUM a 16 is just fine! but i think it looks pretty awesome except for that! keep it up! ^^

Your charging handle is on the wrong side of the receiver and is backwards as well.

you could use lower than 15 i suggest 12, and bevel the edges on the stock and clip

Pimp my gun, is very good for creating a unique style for your game, since lets face it. Zombies games arent perticulary revelutionary.

i always hated that about L4D, too much ammo, and close weapons were too powerfull for my taste...^^

Use Quiks link for gun ref's and you will probably get about 100 hq refs for the AK74U, not the AK47U
