I just bought a new computer and the dvd drive(windows 7) will not read my dbpro disk. It works fine on my other computer(vista). Can I install dbpro over a network drive? I am in the process of migrating my softeware to the new computer but no luck with dbpro

Thanks

Graham

Well, you could A, fit your old drive in your new machine, that would probably sort the reading problem out. Or possibly try to make an iso of your disk on the old machine and use that on the new one. Not sure if it would install over a network, at least not off the disk. Possibly off another hdd.
I hate it when I get a drive that stops reading some disks lol. DVD drives can be a pain, especially regarding standard cd's nowadays.

Had a DVD film like that once - changing the dvd players region worked for me. You could give that a try - dunno if it would work or if it was DVD media specific
