I installed some model packs from the store as standalone.
How do i import characters in another language or a 3d editor.

Your modeling program needs to be able to import .x files (a Microsoft Direct X file format.) Blender.org should do it and there are download-able plug ins for programs like 3d max, etc.

Pandasoft works good for exporting. I haven't bought max yet but while I had the trial version I was using a file called XPorter.dle. Sorry I don't have it anymore, but when I uninstalled the trial of max, It also deleted the plug ins. I'll have to find it again myself when I get my subscription to max eventually. I did find this link while I was playing with max, it's worth a look.

But long story short the XPorter.dle did allow me to import X files and their textures. In some cases it even brought the bones in for some characters.
