Is the face backwards? Because if it is, it will appear invisible.

Ive never had any problems either, its a good program.

Beforew exporting to the .x file, go to tools\ Model cleaner. Run it, and be sure you export, in Direct x retained mode. See if it helps solve the problem. Screen attached....

I fixed your model and re-uploaded it for you. Your normals were in reverse. Use "select" "face" and pick each face that is in reverse, then press "Ctrl, Shift and F " at the same time and it will reverse the normals.

For the scale, you can adjust the scale by changing the " Position Scaling " from 0.1 to 1 (1=100%). Now if the Scale is still to big then you can adjust that using the fpe under " scale = 100 "

Exporting the entity from the model program at the scale you want reduces the need to edit the scale in the fpe. I use a wall and floor of a segment to scale my stuff before export, so it will look just like I wanted it to in-game.

Hope this helps.

They will be black and you must be in flat shaded mode to see them. You can also turn off backfaces to see which ones are in reverse. With backfaces off you will see the "holes" in the mesh.

Here is a little tutorial showing the creation of a face and should let you see the front and back of the face. It's simple and straight to the point. I would also tell you to look at the rest of the tutorials on there to help you out.
