Hi all. I am very new to fps creator and 3d modeling in general. My problem is this:

I designed a room with multiple windows, and thought it would be cool to have light coming through to portray sunlight. Turns out not to be so easy. I achieved it initially with a few of the windows, but most would not work. The lights were all placed at the same vertical height outside each window, and approx the same distance (very close). When that gave me issues. I tried just one very bright light so the sun would shine through most of the windows. But that didn't work at all. Anyone accomplish this task? Please fill me in, thnx

This would be more appropriate in the FPS Creator forum...

If you don't need actual lighting, just the appearance of volumetric light streaming in (like rays or shafts), try using some textured plains with alpha, an animated texture on them can give some nice results.

Yeah I you wanna fake it a nice little texture and some planes will work well. Otherwise you gotta use volumetric fog and lighting.
