I don't know if I'm using X9, and I know it's not X10, but if not either, could I still use water effects (Like in a pond, flooded room, or stream)?

Here are some resources to make "water" in vanilla x9. It won't act like x10's water, but with some creativity, you can use these to make something and not only nice looking, but somewhat functional:

Has it been confirmed 1.18 will have water. I could not see any confirmed that water will definately be in 1.18.

Lets hope and see.

No, I am not incorrect: I gave FethrdWlf links to the components currently (or shortly as with Frensel Water) available that could be used to create pseudo-realistic water effects with what is currently available.

Also, water HAS NOT been confirmed for 1.18, but HAS been confirmed for later in the migration making YOU incorrect on both counts.

This was a simple question which has been answered and unless anyone has anything better than my suggestions (that is currently available, mind you) it just clutters this thread more than is needed. Now I'm going to go to the kitchen and have some breakfast because getting on the forums with an empty stomach just makes me angry

Sry to be a bit of a troll but yeah.... That was kinda dumb, if you don't have x10 then you can only have x9

Anyway, yeah as most people are saying, Water is coming to x9 so just be patiant. Or you can use the downloads that Wraith Staff posted in the mean time.

Currently your best option would be efx mod. It allows swimming and the water is the best so far. But the frame rate and it's unability to save the waters settings is what I think makes not worth the time. If you are not very good with scripting the scripts are pretty useless as the support for the mod expects you to know what you are doing.

My framerate was 300fps all the time with EFX mod, v1 and v2......Then again I can run x10 just fine so yeah

Yup, Took a while til I could get those specs >_> Best thing I found though was the wasser shaders , they were not the best but they worked nicely enough to just add a little more depth to the level.

Hey guys, i sent a e-mail to lee some weeks ago and they are not planing to put water in fpsc (that or my english is really bad )
