Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.

These pictures show why I stay away from ragdoll in FPSC X9.

Somehow this worked better in X10. Not perfect but better.

Worked better in X10 is an understatement X9 has the worst Ragdoll i have ever seen I'm sure no one can argue that fact. Just look at the evidence here i would rather sue the old death scripts than this.

Before we go off on an x9 bashing spree here again, most of the issues caused above are due to the extra bones introduced for talking characters, any problems with die anims playing before the ragdoll takes effect are down to users not shortening or even removing the old die anims in the characters .fpe.
The current x9 BETA is of course not perfect....yet, and given time either Lee or one of the other devs doing things will get around to fixing the bone problem which in fact not a problem but just something needing to be taken into account.
Meantime users can fix things by shortening the old die animations and ragdoll works just fine on standard characters which dont have the extra bones.
I dont know if you can prevent a ragdoll character falling through a dynamic crate even in x10.
Yes the bones need to have some kind of constraints to prvent them twisting too far around etc, butif x10 is perfect in that sense then I see no reason why it wont be fixed for x9 in future BETA'S
