The 3rd Person and Flashlight can be done in Project Blue. Idk about the Fog though.

Project Blue is also compatible with 1.15

ohh, silent hill, a good one.

the third person in any mods are trully horible as fpsc was ment to be just that. No mod using 3rd person can do big stuff like, climb stairs, squat, shoot a gun even, and when you can it looks terrible. if you want to make a game like this you will need to use dark basic pro.Im making one myself close to this one now.Im starting to learn there is 100000 things I can do that you really cant in fpsc, it was only realy ment to be a first person game engine. Now that being said fpsc was made in dark basic pro, so, could you mod fpsc to make a game like this? shure, mabey but why not just build the game your self from the core engine.

Your signature has been erased by a mod please reduce it to 600 x 120.

You can have the flashlight with the flashlight script.

The fog can be achieved with 3d particles, although there will be a huge performance drop in the levels.

I remember conjured making third person in stock FPSC, which might work for v118.

From all the flashlights I used, they are all quite bad. They just brighten up the whole screen, instead of that circle effect.

Isn't there also a fog affect in the ambience area in the .ini file? You could then drop a occassional particle in there to add to the atmosphere.

Never found a good enough torch mod/script. I just don't think the engine can do it "off the shelf". Most scripts are "hacks" screen over lays etc. Would love to be proved wrong

Third person? I have seen someone do a fallout 3 WIP, it showed third person. Seemed ok. Maybe you should look for his thread and see how he did it?

For peeking, there is disablepeeking=0 or something like that in the setup.ini, set that to 1 and that should be it.

It's a shame FPSC doesn't have spot lights. Just tack one onto the player model and it'd work great...

I made something similar in UDK in Kismet, so my player could have a short range flashlight for close encounters, and an underslung flare launcher to spot enemies further away...

Fyi, I'm not turning this into another argument. I did make a lantern script for FPSC using Project Blue that could easily be adapted for the player, but you want to use 1.18, and I'm not sure if it'd work...

Also, it's a point light in the script, meaning that it isn't directed like a light in a cone, more like a general light in an area. Last I checked the dynamic lights were also pretty bad, at least, not as good as the static ones. So you'd have to deal with that as well...
