Hi Guys, I've been working on this character base mesh for a Dark Basic Pro project I'm programming. It's very basic but I thought I'd release it for free on the forum so other people can benefit from it as well. I've included an OBJ and Milkshape file format in the attachment. The head is not attached to the body, they're seperate groups. Object is not animated or UV mapped either and the mesh is 1682 triangles.

You're free to do as you wish with this model except sell it as it is. This means you can:

-Texture the object and animate it then sell it
-Manipulate the mesh, texture and animate it then sell it
-Create a pack of characters that have been made from this base mesh and then sell it
-Do all of the above and release it for free

If you do use this mesh then it would be nice if you could credit me as the original artist. Enjoy!

Edit: I used this image I found online as reference for creating the body, http://www.seanmichaelragan.com/img/human_figure_8_heads_tall.jpg

WOW
I thought the model's mesh was awesome, but your use policy is even better.

THANKS!

Great stuff, thanks for the download. This will save me a lot of time and effort for my game. Instead of learning how to create a full character from scratch, now I just need to learn how to put clothes on one lol

I game therefore I am.
