Worlds easiest thing!
Just right click and choose Rename in the end there's an ''Fpi'' text change that to ''Txt'' and you can open it with notepad!

Remember that you can change the ''Txt'' back to ''Fpi'' by just renaming it!

No need for that lol.Just right click on the .fpi -> open with... -> select program from list -> notepad.

Unless you're not using Windows you have that option.You can also set from Properties how to open certain file types (for example .fpi).

Properties->General->(Opens with : )Change...->Select Notepad

With FPI EditPad all you have to do is double click on the fpi file and it will automatically run and load that file into the FPI EditPad editor.

I consider notepad a tool and FPI EditPad a better tool and so does Lee, NickyDude and others. No need to fool around with changing file names with FPI EditPad -- or assigning fpi to run notepad.

Oh, you can also right click on the fpi file and click on "open" to do the same thing.

I reject your reality and substitute my own!

Add more adventure to your game -- use RPG Mod

FPI EditPad FTW!!!!

It is my ultimate tool for all things FPSC, from making scripts - to editing fpe, fps etc for making my media

I'm dyslexic, so FPI EditPad has saved me many a time with it's inline syntax checking

Plus El Tel made it future proof with easy command editing, so only took me a few minutes to add all the new airmod etc commands for 1.18

Well considering you made a topic informing people that .fpi files are just plain text files, which the manual already tells you, it is hard to see what point there was to miss to be honest

Your topic is solving a problem that never existed in my honest opinion.
