Hello, I was wondering how custom segments could be made. I have searched the forums but not found a lot. Theres the official segment editor by the sounds and a third party package or two, but it seems none support corners?
I would have thought theres was some info for this somewhere as TGC want people to make models and such for their store.
Say I was to use 3ds or blender for instance (although blender drives me nuts, I always have to sort a list of keyboard commands out before I can do anything in that package ), how would I go about making one?
I am guessing each segment will be 100 units in size. Do you make a floor, ceiling, and wall sections all in one spot as separate objects?Or do you make all of them seperately and combine them later? I really haven't the first clue where to start.
I assume corridors would be different from room sections for instance as they cannot join into a large area on connect to each other and so would probably use less parts.
Any ideas or better still a surefire answer would be great!

Just been chatting to my neighbours teenage daughter and it turns out she's big into UFOs and aliens.

Which is cool because tomorrow she's getting abducted.

Thanks, thought I'd seen it when I first checked, but seems it just looks similar to one I have seen, and by the looks has more info
Will have a read through and see if this clears it up.
Edit - I am still a little confused to be honest. I have included a pic to illustrate how confused I am. Lol.
Those are some basic objects I have just put together. Do segments work like this? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? I am not sure whether walls would overlap sit on the edge, or float just along the very edge. Also not sure if the walls are made as I have done here.
