the minimum is a 1 ghz processor, 512 mb of ram, and a 64mb gfx card, however I suggest at least a 2.4 ghz processor, 1 gb of ram, and an 8600gt or above for any kind of actual "PERFORMANCE"

A "128mb gfx card" and "512mb ram" seems a little small. Is it integrated or a stand-alone card. What kind is it? (ATI, nVidia, Intel, etc)

Is this a laptop or desktop?

Laptops generally aren't good with FPSC, unless they're the types designed for pure speed. If you have a desktop, it probably might be better than your laptop with FPSC.

i have a dell inspiron 6000/laptop 2 gigs ram runs smooth no lag did have a desktop but power supply died that one was a dual 3.06 overclocked to something else cant remember with 6 gigs of ram and 5tb of space i sooo miss it as for the laptop it was 512 the frame rate was about 20 ish outside levels and 30 in make sure also when using a laptop goto start / control panel / Administrative Tools /Services and disable anything you know should not be running in the backround as i find xp or others has stuff that is not really needed like java updates etc disable thoes just make sure to do them manually that will help with frame rates
