Hello, I'm new to FPS Creator, so expect to see me leaching information off you guys a lot. Lets get started.

1.) How do I add music to my levels?

2.) How do I add narrated voices to my levels?

3.) "light2" won't make the lights flicker, am I doing something wrong?

4.) Is there any tips you have to make combat more fun and interesting? (Half-Life fanboy here, varied gameplay is my thing)

5.) My game would classify under a horror, similar to System Shock 2 (minus the RPG bits). Do you guys have any tips when it comes to lighting, level design, ways to make things scarier in general?

6.) How can I make a sound play when an enemy is killed?

7.) Is there any way to make enemies have a sort of idle noise, like in System Shock 2, the Hybrids would say stuff.

7.5.) Same goes for when they're attacking.

8.) How can I make a movie play between levels?

9.) How can I give the characters my own animations for cutscenes?

10.) How can I make sequences in the game when enemies spawn in waves and attack the player?

11.) How do I activate the ragdolls that apparently come with the latest version of FPSC (which I have)?

12.) Can I give the player multiple jump sounds?

Thanks, I know thats a mouthful. But'll hopefully keep me busy for a while. I promise to post some screenies and a demo of my game when I can.

Set the light to dynamic.

Search for it

Make stuff pop up right infront of you, falling stuff from the roof.

FPI Script

Find the ragdoll thread and download the script.

Why? Why would something just illogically pop up infront of you? And the things falling thing, is a very overused effect too, but it can work. I never liked spawning stuff right in front of you, just to give scares, it rarely works... and it never worked with me. So far, atleast.

FPI Script"

This meaning to put the death sound to a sound you want to be played or are you meaning something else? Becouse, that's the easiest solution in my opinion. To replace the dying sound.

I usually put them around a corner, or somewhere the player wouldn't be looking so that when they spawn it's unexpected. I think I'm doing a fairly good job, as I've made myself jump once already. Then again, I'm a baby when it comes to horror games.

I should have been more specific, I mean voice overs. The story to my game is being mainly narrated by the main character. And I was wondering if there was a way to trigger a separate sound file when an enemy is killed.

Oh... well, if you put a different death sound to an every enemy, that shoudl work, but it would take very much memory then... I don't know then.

Yeah, thats what I was worried of. And overall, it would be a lot of work.

Is there maybe some way that the enemy could could spawn a trigger zone when killed?
