I wasn't sure if I should put this in the 3d or here but if I add glass in blender that you can see through will it appear in DBpro as you can see through it? Like say if I made a window, with a frame thats solid then the glass in the center would you only be able to see through the glass?

You would need to give the glass an alpha texture since some of the material settings in blender won't be in the .x file.

My computer surpasses all the technologies of the day. What computer do I have?

You could texture it with a .png, which supports transparency.

One thing... If you're thinking you'll get the high quality part-reflection stuff, you won't without applying a shader. I'm pretty sure blender uses raytracing for all its see-through effects (not "alpha", but w/ other options).

I think the best thing would be to create the window frame only (no window), and then a blue, ghosted box to act as the actual glass part, created within dbpro, and placed in the right spot
